Our company is committed to maintaining high levels of health and safety awareness, and we are looking for an individual who can provide expert support to our Health, Safety & Environmental Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing high levels of health and safety administration support to the HSE Manager, ensuring the site maintains its high levels of health and safety awareness.
  2. Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and corporate compliance, advising on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS&E Policies, HSE guidance, and codes of practice.
  3. Ensuring that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met.
  4. Conducting monthly safety audits, behavioral observations, and quarterly safety inspections.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering/FMCG environment.
  2. Experience supporting a Health & Safety Manager.
  3. Level 3 Food hygiene, Intermediate HACCP, and a good knowledge of BRC standards.
