About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Buyer to join our team at Lakeland. As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing a clear product strategy based on sales history, market trends, innovation, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear product strategy based on sales history, market trends, innovation, and company objectives.
  • Deliver this strategy through the development, sourcing, purchasing, and introduction of new, market-leading products in conjunction with suppliers, manufacturers, inventors, and designers.
  • Efficiently manage newly-selected products through all compliance, testing processes, internal systems, and marketing requirements, and into the business.

About You

You will be comfortable with IT, have strong commercial and numerical skills, and be comfortable negotiating with suppliers. You will have demonstrable experience in Buying, with experience working for a multi-channel Homewares retailer, as well as experience of working directly with UK and/or International factories.
