Job Description
We are BeBee Professionals, a dynamic construction company based in Bangor, United Kingdom. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects by managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and managing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, conducting cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles, negotiating contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, and monitoring and managing project cash flows and budgets. Additionally, you will identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation. To be successful in this role, you will require a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices, proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools, and membership in a relevant professional body, such as RICS.
