Role Overview:

As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force for growth in the UK Industrial Automation market.

You'll identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and ensure our services meet expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan to meet sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Connect with potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
  • Present our tech solutions effectively to clients.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.
  • Track sales performance to ensure targets are met.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal groups to align on goals.
  • Work with tech teams to ensure our solutions meet client needs.
  • Share market feedback with product development teams.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor business activities and sales performance with regular reports.
  • Use data to refine our business strategies.
Requirements:

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous industrial automation experience is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field (Master's is a plus).
  • 5+ years in business development or sales in the tech space.
  • Proven success in securing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of tech trends and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a results-driven attitude.
  • Ready to travel when needed.
