Swimming Instructor

At GLL, we're seeking a qualified Swimming Teacher to join our team at Bodmin Leisure Centre. As a Swimming Teacher, you'll play a vital role in developing our customers' swimming skills, delivering safe and consistent lessons that give people real confidence in the water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive image of the Centre by providing a welcoming and professional poolside service.
• Comply with the commitments outlined in the 'Customer Charter' and ensure that standards are maintained as stipulated.
• Ensure the safety and control of pupils within swimming lessons and enforce relevant regulations.
• Actively encourage pupils to enrol on further courses and short courses.
• Assist with new-enrolments and re-enrolments as required by the General Manager.
• Understand and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy.
• Record and complete relevant awards in line with expected standards.
• Teach to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach.
