Job Description: B1 Licensed Maintenance Specialist

Location: Birmingham, UK

Salary: up to £73,109 per annum (dependent on experience)

Overview:

Daniel Owen Ltd is a global leader in aircraft maintenance services. We require a skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our Quality & Inspection department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough function checks during modification stages and aircraft completion
  • Remove major structural components with precision and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality results
  • Maintain adherence to company and manufacturer procedures
  • Implement modifications from drawings and procedures
  • Inspect modifications at various stages and upon completion

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience as a B1 Licensed Engineer
  2. Valid B1 B737 Licence (recent issue)
  3. Proven track record of implementing large-scale modifications
  4. Aircraft engineering apprenticeship or live aircraft experience
  5. Strong understanding of manufacturers' drawings and SRMs
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. UK work permit eligibility
  8. Security clearance subject to vetting
