About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Animation Host to join our team at Haven. As an Animation Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional entertainment experiences for our guests, bringing our characters to life and creating unforgettable memories.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of daytime and evening events, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our guests.
- Perform as a costume animator/actor in our 'Seaside Squad' events, bringing our beloved characters to life.
- Puppeteer in 'With Ned & Polly', an Avenue Q-style puppet show, captivating audiences with your skills and creativity.
- Swing/cover within our in-house productions, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.
- Provide light entertainment duties, including tech, meet & greets, and guest interaction, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- May be required to assist with additional owner and charity events, demonstrating your commitment to our community.
- May be required for rehearsals, photoshoots, filming, or PR exercises, showcasing your professionalism and flexibility.

Rate of Pay
£ per hour (prior to accommodation, tax, and national insurance deductions).
Experience and Qualifications
While we will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in entertainment and a passion to develop their skills within the industry.
- Have confidence and the ability to engage and interact with guests of all ages.
- Possess basic dancing, presenting, and animation skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.

We are part of an award-winning Bourne Leisure family, which includes Haven and Warner Hotels. We have 9,000 fantastic team members and 39 beautiful seaside locations, with our HQ based in Hemel Hempstead.

This is a full-time, seasonal, fortnightly-paid, PAYE contract. Start dates vary depending on the role, and the contract ends in November 2024. Cast members work 6 variable days/evenings per week, with approximately 39 hours per week. Shared accommodation will be provided if required.
