About the Role

You will be part of a prestigious mid-frequency systematic quant team at Fourier Ltd, a highly successful proprietary trading firm. Your primary responsibility will be to create market-leading systematic trading strategies, encompassing research, model development, and implementation. These strategies will directly impact the desk's profitability.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in quantitative finance, preferably in a buy-side company, with expertise in alpha research and signal generation. Knowledge of machine learning and the global macro market is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative models for systematic trading strategies
  • Conduct research on alpha signals and market trends
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement trading strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and adjust strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • PhD or master's degree in a quantitative field (maths, physics, computer science, or engineering) from a Russell Group university or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Python programming with experience in machine learning libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a buy-side company
