About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Doctor to join our team as a Safety Physician Director. As a key member of our pharmacovigilance and risk management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patients and the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical expertise and guidance on pharmacovigilance and risk management strategies
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks
  • Conduct safety reviews and assessments to ensure the quality and safety of our products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (physician) degree
  • Significant pharmacovigilance experience relating to Safety Evaluation and Risk Management
  • Knowledge/experience of international pharmacovigilance requirements and drug development and approval processes
  • Experience working in large matrix organizations
  • Advanced experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry working in Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of both clinical trial safety and post-marketing
  • Experience of working with oncology patients
  • GMC registered or local equivalent
