We are looking for a skilled and motivated Planning and Enforcement Specialist to join our Building Control team in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a local authority Building Control environment, be able to evaluate correct charges for Building Regulation applications, and have knowledge of office management software.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary of £31,383 - £36,659 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, providing administrative support to the Building Control team.

Job Description
  • Evaluate correct charges: Evaluate correct charges for Building Regulation applications.
  • Process applications: Process applications for Full Plans, Building Notices, Demolitions & Regularisations within timeframes.
  • Manage day-to-day diary: Assist in managing the booking of and day-to-day diary management of building control site visits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in local authority Building Control
  • Ability to evaluate correct charges
  • Knowledge of office management software
  • Effective communication skills
