Job Description

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships program. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and contributing to the educational environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing individual support to students, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (Grade C) in Maths and English, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications.

Benefits

As a GEN2 apprentice, you will benefit from regular performance reviews, ongoing professional discussions, and feedback from line managers and peers. You will also have access to a portfolio of evidence, including reports and observations, to demonstrate your competence and knowledge.

Others

The Gen2 delivery plan includes Off The Job Training, which consists of safeguarding, health and safety, understanding learners - child development, communication and collaboration, reflective practice, and personal development. On The Job Training will be conducted on a six weekly basis and will consist of classroom observations of skills and behaviours, professional discussions, progress reviews, coaching and mentoring.
