We are seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team, a well-established family-owned residential developer and main contractor delivering innovative projects across North Wales and North West areas.

About the Role:

  • Manage main and subcontracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and agree monthly interim valuations and final accounts, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Record, cost, and agree contract variations, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Produce internal monthly cost/value reconciliation cost reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Procure subcontracts, including preparing tender enquiries, reconciling quotations, and placing subcontract orders.
  • Manage payment of consultants' interim and final accounts, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Exercise day-to-day cost control and cash flow forecasting, ensuring the company's financial stability.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction cost management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proven experience in managing main and subcontracts, with a focus on cost control and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
