About the Role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers and special education professionals to develop tailored learning plans that cater to each student's unique requirements.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also be required to:

  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to identify areas of strength and weakness for each student.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • A commitment to promoting a positive school culture and supporting students with challenging behaviour.
