About the Role:

Pearson is currently recruiting for a Spanish Language Assessor to assess student performance in Spanish exams. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for education and a strong understanding of the Spanish language.

As a Marking Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating student responses according to the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

You will need to have a degree or equivalent qualification and one year's worth of teaching experience within the relevant subject area, gained within the last 8 years, since qualifying as a teacher. Additionally, you must possess a high level of subject knowledge and be able to apply the mark scheme effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure accurate and consistent marking to maintain overall standards.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • To ensure milestones for marking are met.
  • To complete all administrative tasks as specified.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who can work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a high level of subject knowledge. Estimated salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
