Senior MEP Cost Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior MEP Cost Consultant to join our London-based team at Cast Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients and project teams, offering expert guidance and support throughout the project(s). Your role will involve leading and managing costs and budgets of MEPH elements for a range of construction projects, including build to rent, later living, and student accommodation, as well as masterplans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies for MEPH elements
  • Lead and manage costs and budgets for construction projects
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of MEPH technologies and project work stages
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on cost estimating, cost planning, and procurement
Requirements:
  • Qualified MEP Cost Consultant with 5+ years' experience working in the UK construction industry
  • Adaptable individual who can work within a team or autonomously across multiple projects
  • Skilled in developing client and other project relationships
  • MRICS or another qualification in a relevant business discipline preferred but not essential
  • Experience in developing and nurturing talent
  • Knowledge of MEPH technologies and experience developing technical knowledge across the project work stages
  • Practical experience of cost estimating, cost planning, and procurement
  • Demonstrable passion for and understanding of the Real Estate and Construction Industry
