Job Title: HGV Maintenance and Servicing Expert

We are seeking an experienced HGV Maintenance and Servicing Expert to join our team at Finning International. As a critical member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational availability of equipment for our customers through timely and efficient routine and preventative maintenance servicing and machine inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance servicing of heavy mobile plant, including hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct visual and mechanical analysis of machine condition to identify developing issues.
  • Complete minor repairs and installations as required.
  • Work closely with the controller to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related engineering function, such as car mechanic or HGV fitter.
  • Direct experience or formal apprenticeship qualification that includes at least C&G level 1.
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures and protocols.
