Plymouth, Plymouth, United Kingdom Beacon Medical Group, Devon Full time

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior General Practitioner to join our team at Beacon Medical Group, Devon. Our practice is a Single Practice Primary Care Network covering Ivybridge and Plympton, providing care for 43,000 patients in two defined clinical hubs. We have a large and resilient GP team and are looking for the right person to fill the gap left by a senior GP's retirement. Our team is equipped with a range of professionals, including paramedics, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, first contact physiotherapists, and mental health workers, which has significantly reduced GP workload. We encourage continuity with Usual Doctor Lists but have a Duty Day system led by our Allied Healthcare Professionals (Urgent Care Team) with GP support. Our GP lists are stratified to enable GPs to focus on continuity or chronic disease management, while also allowing our Urgent Care team to handle acute care input. We offer VISA Sponsorship, Flexible Working, and support for Returning From Maternity Leave. Our practice website is https://www.beaconmedicalgroup.nhs.uk/.
