Inverness, Highland, United Kingdom Ember Core Ltd Full time
About Ember Core Ltd

We're a pioneering company that's revolutionising public transport by providing convenient, connected, affordable, and zero-emission services. Our goal is to make it easier to get from A to B with Ember than with your own car.

We've already demonstrated the feasibility of using electric buses more intensively than anyone else in the world, resulting in massive emissions reductions. To achieve this, we control the full stack, integrating technology, charging infrastructure, and vehicles tightly together. This leads to a better passenger experience with innovative features like demand-responsive stops.

We're operating on a micro scale currently, with three routes and 38 active buses. However, our challenge is to scale this 100x while staying lean, increasing efficiency, and delivering an even better product experience. We've secured equity funding from leading climate VCs and a debt facility from our ethical banking partner, enabling us to take things to the next level.

Our Vision

We envision a future where public transport is not only convenient but also sustainable. Our mission is to make Ember the preferred choice for passengers across Scotland, offering exceptional services that cater to their needs.

To achieve this vision, we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and sustainability. If you're a motivated, ambitious professional with a passion for operations and leadership, we'd love to hear from you.

A salary of up to £70,000 per annum, depending on your experience, is offered. You'll also be eligible for share options through an EMI scheme.
