Logistics Driver

At Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited, we are looking for a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to customers within corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits, and other traffic signs, while giving due regard to other road users.
• Conduct daily checks to ensure the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition, including checks of lights, brakes, coolant, and other essential systems.
• Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays, and take prompt action to rectify the situation.
• Maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle, as well as the cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Ensure sufficient quantities of fuel are taken for the day's work.
• Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Verify all orders on drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded onto the vehicle.
• Collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins, and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by branch management.
• Handle damages and breakages promptly and correctly, with due regard to special procedures for hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain a smart appearance and contribute to good customer relations.

Requirements:

• A full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
• Route planning experience.
