Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support multiple enterprise multi-tenant cloud applications distributed throughout the world in a multi-AZ AWS environment. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
    • Ensure high availability and performance of cloud applications
  • Automation and Deployment
    • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline development and release processes
    • Deploy updates and fixes to cloud applications
  • Security and Compliance
    • Ensure the security and integrity of cloud data and applications
    • Comply with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Professional Experience
    • Professional experience as a Software Engineer
    • Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
    • Experience working with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu preferred)
    • AWS Experience
    • High level of understanding in cloud networking - including transitive routing, site-to-site network establishment, segmented account networking, etc.
    • Comfortable with operating from the Linux command line interface
    • Python (most preferred)/BASH and/or other scripting languages
    • Familiarity with deployment/management tools (Jenkins, AWS SSM, Rundeck, etc)
  • Preferred Experience
    • Comfortable with Windows DSC
    • Familiarity with NoSQL, especially DynamoDB and/or Redis
