Evoke Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in the Oxfordshire area. As a Site Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall school site services, including the allocation, inspection, and monitoring of contracted building works and remedials.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and direct external building contractors to ensure timely completion of works within budget and with minimal disruption to the school and wider business.
- Ensure the school and site security systems remain in excellent working order on a 24/7 operation.
- Assure strict Health and Safety Regulations, including Fire and Evacuation, Asbestos and Legionella checks, Security System Testing, assessment and investigation, site access routes and site vehicle checks.
- Arrange internal decoration and site repair works, obtaining the best price versus budget allowances, ensuring timescales match those of the school, and consistently ensuring a high standard of work.
- Report to the Regional Estates Manager, attending regular meetings, and providing reports and improvement logs, detailing all works and possible concerns.
- Undertake physical lifting, stretching, and bending, and be willing to take on light internal maintenance and remedial work to fixtures and fitting.
- Work in adverse weather conditions, dressing accordingly as indicated by the different seasons.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience gained in the education service sector.
- Extensive Health and Safety Site experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Please note that this is a permanent career opportunity with an excellent annual salary of £36,000 plus a range of highly attractive employee benefits.
