Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead our new four-bedroom children’s home in the Bath and Bristol area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care for vulnerable children, managing a team, and ensuring safe and effective care while maintaining compliance with legislative conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a new four-bedroom children’s home.
  • Delivering excellent child-focused care through leadership and management.
  • Collaboration with the Responsible Individual (RI) and senior management.
  • Organizing routine meetings, supervisions, and probationary reviews.
  • Safe and effective rota administration.
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsibilities.
  • Maintenance of legislative and regulatory compliance.
  • Budget management in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Development of systems for consulting children about the quality of care.
