Job Description

This Neurology Ward Care Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with complex neurological conditions.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual receives the highest standard of care and attention.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £24,500 per annum, based on experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support healthcare professionals in administering routine care activities and documenting patient information.
  • Provide clinical support to ensure efficient ward operations and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements
  • Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths grade)
  • Care Certificate
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or social care setting, preferably in a neurology ward environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
