Job Description

About the Role:

This position involves leading general systems engineering activities, including requirements development and management, modelling and simulation, design activities, integration, and verification and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop system requirements
  • Lead the integration and testing of complex systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in hardware engineering and systems integration
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hardware engineering and systems integration
  • Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle and systems development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Academic qualifications in Engineering or related STEM subjects

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in COTS hardware, preferably with blade and PC technology
  • Design and build of electrical and hardware systems

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is circa £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
