Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Urenco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our UF6 deconversion facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure compliance with nuclear site licence conditions and national regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, and SHE departments, to ensure effective maintenance execution.
  • Perform audits of task execution and validate plans to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution.
  • Source and schedule necessary materials and resources efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain detailed job plans, task risk assessments, and method statements.
Requirements
  • Time-served mechanical or CEI technician with hands-on experience in a chemical/process plant.
  • Familiarity with the maintenance of typical process equipment, including pumps, valves, vessels, piping systems, instrument and control systems.
  • Experience of planning maintenance activities using a CMMS/EAM package, preferably SAP with Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of scheduling maintenance tasks/projects in a Gantt chart format/CMMS.
  • Proficient in Risk Assessment methodology and in writing work instructions/job plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing peak workloads and technical issues.
  • Ability to conduct site visits to determine job scope, methods, and resource requirements.
  • Competence in interfacing with third-party web-based data systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP (with Prometheus) certification.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
  • Documentum experience.
  • CMMS/EAM package proficiency.
