Reliability Asset Manager

At DS Smith, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reliability Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Engineering Function, this role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and profitability of our assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical asset management, with advanced data analytics skills essential for optimising performance and profitability. Proficiency in interpreting complex datasets is required to conduct performance analyses and forecasts accurately.
The successful candidate will work aligned to the Group Engineering Roadmap, increasing the value that the Engineering Function can deliver for DS Smith via the Group Wide Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Management program. This role is responsible for developing efficient Asset Management Strategies & Process to deliver maximum value for DS Smith.
Key responsibilities include managing the completion of maintenance maturity and value driver audits across the Group, setting up concrete action plans to make a tangible impact. The ability to influence technical & operational excellence leaders across the Paper and Packaging Divisions is core to being successful in this role.
The Reliability Asset Manager will act as a champion on Reliability Maintenance, acting as Group expert able to train and coach divisional/regional reliability resources. Working with the Head of Group Engineering, establish and monitor the Group & local "Value Driven Maintenance" roadmap that forms the basis of the Maintenance transformation program.
The Group Wide Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Management program is a critical component of DS Smith's strategy, and the successful candidate will play a key role in its execution.
