About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Care Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in adult care, while also studying towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence and well-being, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assist with the personal care needs of service users, including bathing, dressing and toileting.
  • To promote independence and self-advocacy among service users, through the provision of practical support and guidance.
  • To contribute to the development of individualised support plans, in collaboration with service users, their families and other professionals.
Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards service users and colleagues.
  • Possessing good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families and other professionals.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, comprehensive benefits package and flexible working policies.
