Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our senior leadership team at the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing operations and procedures of the Federation, promoting efficiency and innovation across the group.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth and diversification, building effective working relationships across operational and executive teams, and supporting the delivery of the group strategy to position the organisation for success.
You will be responsible for overseeing 4 key areas within the Federation, including the membership arm, an industry regulator, and Central Services, comprising of IT, Sales and Marketing. This role is pivotal in driving group-wide initiatives that contribute to our growth plans, leading change and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's operations and procedures, ensuring excellence.
- Drive revenue growth and diversification.
- Build effective working relationships across operational and executive teams.
- Support the delivery of the group strategy to position the organisation for success.
- Act as a catalyst for technology-driven growth.
- Deputise for the CEO as required.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure return on investment.
- Implement performance metrics to improve organisational performance.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual who has a proven track record in operations leadership, strategic planning, and business growth. You will have a strong understanding of membership bodies or trade federations and be able to execute strategic vision and drive operational effectiveness.
