The Knowsley Community Respiratory Service is seeking a highly skilled physiotherapist to join their team as a specialist in respiratory care. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, timely and evidence-based care to patients with chronic respiratory disease in the community setting.

As a respiratory physiotherapy specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, treating and reviewing the respiratory needs of patients within the community setting. This will include the assessment and prescription of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise and classes, as well as providing advice to patients, families and other health professionals regarding physiotherapy.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in physiotherapy and postgraduate courses or continuing professional development (CPD) in pulmonary rehabilitation or chronic respiratory disease. They will also have experience of managing acute and chronic respiratory patients with relevant physiotherapeutic interventions, as well as supervising students, juniors and assistants.

We are offering a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
