About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of civil engineering projects across the UK and Ireland.

Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering infrastructure projects, including drainage infrastructure, commercial developments, and water utility projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success and employee satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team in developing civil engineering projects
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Supervise the preparation and implementation of drawings and documents
  • Monitor project scoping, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Carry out site inspections and supervision

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience working in the UK desired
  • Chartered Engineer or member of a professional body
  • Strong knowledge of current codes of practice and building control regulations
  • Ability to work as part of a team and achieve tight deadlines

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working on frameworks with utility companies
  • Design experience in the water sector, energy, and commercial industries
