About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Installation Engineer to join our team at Prime Secure. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining CCTV and security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and upgrade CCTV and security systems for both construction and commercial customers.
  • Carry out installations on-site as per instruction.
  • Perform system reconfigurations and decommissions.
  • Engage in training to ensure up-to-date knowledge of products.
  • Maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, customers, and third parties, taking ownership of user requests and escalating more complex service issues to the relevant team member when required.
  • Plan and undertake scheduled routine maintenance checks and upgrades.
Requirements
  • 3-year minimum experience working within a similar technical role.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and learn quickly.
  • A honest and discreet approach to confidential information.
  • Prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks, with the ability to work at height and hold a full UK driving license with no points or pending convictions.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Dahua/Ajax security systems and its products.
  • Experience with planning and installing networks.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
  • A good understanding of configuring network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Experience installing and configuring CCTV equipment.
  • A good understanding of CCTV equipment and the different types of systems available.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate network or CCTV installs.
  • Experience with alarm systems.
