Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Service Delivery Specialist to join our team at Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality HR services to employees, leveraging technology and streamlining processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Improving HR administration processes through collaboration with the wider HR and operational teams
  • Managing employee lifecycle process documentation in line with legislation and requirements for loading to Oracle Fusion
  • Serving as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR topics
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancing HR service delivery
  • Managing the HR Shared Services inbox daily
  • Supporting the development and dissemination of policy, benefits, and procedural messaging to employees as necessary
  • Delivering a Dechra HR information session to new employees during their initial weeks of employment
  • Maintaining the security matrix and access for the global HR team regarding global employee records, adhering to data protection legislation
  • Entering employee data changes within Oracle Fusion and ADP Celergo, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Collaborating with the Group Compliance Team to keep HR ROPA updated
  • Ensuring accurate processing of payroll each month, working closely with Finance
  • Maintaining the UK Group SIPP online platform with pension updates and new employee details for auto-enrolled employees
  • Monitoring holiday accruals and working with managers to ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Informing managers about service anniversary dates, probationary review periods, fixed-term contract periods, visas, and their expiration
  • Working with the Digital Learning team on onboarding training for new employees
  • Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team to maintain an up-to-date intranet for employees, including onboarding documents, wellbeing communications, benefit details, and points of contact
  • Transmitting P11D data for UK employees annually, in conjunction with Group Finance
  • Supporting key HR annual cycles such as pay review, performance review, and engagement survey
  • Maintaining databases, reports, and records as agreed upon with the wider HR team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Advanced Excel skills for efficient data processing and analysis
  • Able to manage your workload, meet deadlines, and remain focused on long-term deliverables
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills
  • A solid understanding of MS Office
  • A self-starting attitude with resilience
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • The capacity to ensure remote teams stay on track to achieve tight deadlines and key milestones
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HRIS and data management tools
  • Experience in assessing and streamlining system-related HR processes and procedures
  • Experience in training users online, face-to-face, and preparing training materials
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Possibility of domestic travel
Desirable Qualifications

While not essential, we welcome candidates with:

  • A project management qualification or Data Analysis Qualification
  • CIPD qualified
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical company
  • Previous experience in a shared service centre environment with exposure to a wide array of HR activities
  • Previous international HR exposure
  • Experience with Oracle HRIS and ADP payroll preferred
  • Addition language skills (verbal and written) with a preference for Polish, Italian, and/or Dutch
