Rev & Regs Limited is seeking a highly skilled Claims Team Leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of claim handlers, ensuring that all claims are handled in a proactive manner and in accordance with the company's Claims Philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of claim handlers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful handling of claims.
- Monitor and oversee the progress of individual team members' objectives, ensuring that all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take full responsibility and accountability for your workload of claims, ensuring that all are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of policy wordings and their application, ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with the relevant policies.
- Support the Claims Manager in the oversight of external service providers and TPAs, ensuring that all are used effectively to maximize the company's claims handling capabilities.
- Ensure good and regular lines of communication exist with key brokers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring that all claims are handled in a proactive manner.
- Act on feedback on claims service, addressing any problems quickly and escalating if necessary.
- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to lead and manage a team of claim handlers.
- Either legal qualifications or relevant experience, including studying towards or having a real desire to study towards CII qualifications.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook, and the ability to become fully competent with the company's in-house systems.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adhere to demanding service level standards and maintain an active case load.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
