We are seeking a compassionate and caring SEN Classroom Mentor to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a valued member of our staff, you will be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other challenges.
About the RoleYou will be working on a 1:1 and group basis with students aged 5 to 16, supporting their learning objectives and providing emotional regulation. You will work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to ensure each student receives the support they need.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
- Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Provide emotional regulation and behavioral support to students
- Collaborate with the school team to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for someone who is calm, compassionate, and able to bring a positive energy to the classroom. Previous experience working with children, especially those with additional needs, is beneficial. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain experience in an education setting or someone who wants to work in psychology or mental health.
