We are seeking an experienced Commercial Coordinator to assist in the management of commercial responsibilities and contribute to the delivery of our vision of delivering brilliant infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce weekly and monthly cost value reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Capture and allocate costs and liabilities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with internal and external teams to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Manage opportunities and risks, identifying deviations from working practices to minimize financial impact.
  • Assist in developing commercial tenders, offers, and contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and escalate inappropriate costs to prevent financial losses.
  • Record and track insurance claims to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain accurate contract data and records to support business decision-making.
  • Capturing and report direct labour payments; draft and award sub-contracts to ensure timely payment to relevant parties.
  • Share best practices for continuous improvement to enhance commercial processes.

Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Coordinator with a relevant degree in construction or commercial management and experience in subcontractor management. The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of NEC3 forms of contract, as well as relevant construction and contract law.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with advanced Excel skills. The ability to prioritize own workload, act collaboratively, and inspire others to do the same is also required.

The successful candidate should be proactive in identifying and promptly escalating issues, demonstrating resilience in the face of setbacks, taking personal responsibility for resolving problems, and positively challenging situations to provide clear commercial information.
