Pick for Britain is seeking a Reoffending Prevention Strategist to join our team in reducing reoffending rates and promoting employment opportunities for prisoners.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced professional with excellent communication skills to work closely with prison staff, DWP Prison Work Coaches, and National Employer and Partnership Team to match work-ready candidates with job opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage an Employment Hub which centralizes employment support services within the prison, promotes live vacancies to prison leavers during the resettlement period, and works in partnership with the Prison's Strategic Employment Advisory Boards to improve systems that support prisoners to develop employability.
  • Contribute to the Local Partnership Agreement (LPA) with DWP detailing the responsibilities of the PEL, Prison Work Coaches, and DWP Employment Advisers and how they will work together at the prison.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum
