Director of Laboratory Oversight and Management

This position plays a critical role in overseeing third-party laboratory services for designated customers. As an Associate Director, you will provide strategic guidance on governance, early engagement, study setup, study maintenance, and study closeout phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance - Provide oversight of laboratory services, attending regular meetings to discuss progress, identify issues, and implement mitigations.
- Early Engagement - Collaborate with Alliance Managers to contract and qualify new laboratories, ensuring they meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Study Setup - Support Study Project Managers and Leads in setting up studies with TPL testing, ensuring seamless data flow between TPLs and IQVIA Laboratories.
- Study Maintenance - Oversee samples routed to TPLs, monitor results, and manage escalations to ensure timely resolution.
- Study Closeout - Assist in closing out open data queries, obtaining final data transmissions, and filing study documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field and significant experience in the clinical or research industry.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Technical expertise, strong relationship management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and IQL business systems.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 per year (dependent on location).
