At Scottish Action for Mental Health, we are committed to providing exceptional mental health support to individuals in need. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you delivering place-based Time for You support in venues across Torry and Aberdeen City. Your primary focus will be on empowering individuals to improve their wellbeing, resilience, and mental health through psychological wellbeing coaching. Using evidence-based cognitive behavioural coaching models, you will support clients to explore and work towards goals that are important to them during this transition.

You will predominantly work with clients on a 1:1 basis, offering coaching within a time-limited structure. Sessions will usually be scheduled Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, depending on your availability and that of the client. In some cases, evening/weekend sessions may be required.

We are looking for a self-starter who can demonstrate good communication skills, reliability, and a mature attitude, along with adaptability and enthusiasm. Knowledge and experience in supporting people with mental health problems is essential.
