Baylis (Gloucester) Limited invites applications for a highly organized Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant to join its busy Accounts department in Cheltenham. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and providing administrative support to ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including Purchase Ledger entries and bank statements.
- Process invoices and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely payments and efficient supply chain management.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Previous experience in a motor trade business or similar industry is desirable but not essential.
