About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Security Platform Architect with experience in architecture and development of secure Hardware & Software solutions. You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the point of contact for platform architecture and threat mitigation
  • Supporting design vision creation, design decisions, and design review
  • Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end designs are delivered across the wider Defence landscape
  • Supporting the review of HLDs and LLDs for coherence and quality
  • Aligning standards, frameworks, and security with business and technology strategies and policies
  • Supporting design of platform architecture elements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with architecture and development of secure Hardware & Software solutions
  • Platform engineering skills, ideally with a strong Platform Engineering background
  • Ability to write technical requirements and produce detailed solution architectures
  • Experience in designing and implementing secure platform solutions
  • Knowledge of the UK Defence sector and its requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Exchange, Voice & Video Conferencing (Skype for Business, SIP with TLD federation)
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £650 / day Inside IR35, as well as the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the Defence sector. This role is being offered for a 6-month initial period with long-term extensions likely. You will be required to work on-site 1-2 days per month in Corsham.
