Job Overview
A dynamic Regional Procurement Lead is sought to spearhead procurement initiatives within the Life Sciences division. This role demands expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.

About the Role
This position will lead regional BTO activities within an international, highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Solutions and Commercial Team to deliver tailored solutions to enterprise client accounts within a specified geography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional Procurement Management programs ensuring delivery of Sector Leadership & client contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with the Full Spectrum regional procurement team comprising Sourcing / Procurement Managers, Procurement Analysts, and Contract Support roles.
  • Work closely with the Global Lab Strategic Sourcing Director to provide key contributions in regional strategy development, category management, supplier development & business development.
  • Guarantee availability of internal and external suppliers for current and future business needs, focusing on quality, promptness, and economical cost for meeting Gross Margin objectives.
  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.

Person Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar.
  • ERP system experience with SAP, Maximo, Coupa.
  • Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency.
  • Fluent in English both written and oral.
  • Previous client-facing experience in Procurement/Sourcing, consulting, or medical device manufacturing environments.
  • An understanding of laboratory operations or asset management business.

Salary Range$120,000 - $180,000 annually based on qualifications and location.
