ProTalent is partnering with a prestigious accountancy firm to find an exceptional Audit Senior to join their team on the South Coast.

The Role:

  • As an Audit Senior, you will work closely with supervisors and managers to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional client service.
  • You will take responsibility for audit assignments, supervising junior staff, and preparing audit planning documentation.
  • You will have a basic understanding of the firm's audit package and be able to implement its basic elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce complex draft financial statements in a statutory format using the firm's accounting software.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for simple groups.
  • Identify tax adjustments arising from accounts preparation and audit work.
  • Identify basic tax and other planning opportunities based on account preparation and audit work.

Requirements:

  • Qualified AAT or ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible and approachable with a strong work ethic.
