About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Care and Support Assistant at Fern Brook Lodge residential care home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to ensure residents receive person-centered care and support.
  • Identify and meet the individual needs and abilities of our residents to promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Act as a point of escalation for any incidents or events in the home, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Contribute to a co-operative and friendly atmosphere within the home, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is naturally caring and compassionate, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support. You will need to have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and have previous experience in care. You will also need to be able to inspire and nurture your team to be at their best every day.
