Job Overview

Staffline Driving is seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in HGV driving.
  • Valid Class 1 HGV license.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK roads and traffic laws.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive pay rates per hour, including:

  • Monday - Friday Days - £19.00
  • Monday - Friday Nights - £20.00
  • Saturdays - £21.00
  • Sundays - £22.00
  • O/T (After 8 hours daily) - £28.50
Working Conditions

A rota pattern with starting times ranging from 05:30 to 07:00, with regular breaks and time off.
