Asset Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PPE and Systems Officer to join our team at Networking Women in the Fire Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and manage the Service-wide PPE function to minimize operational impact, including the issue of PPE, stock management, contract management, and project support.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal staff for the Online Supplies Catalogue, manage the Services laundry contract, and assist with overall budget management within the PPE and Supplies remit.
- Manage the Respiratory Protection Equipment (RPE) programme, be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of PPE items, and ensure the asset management database and records are maintained.
Requirements:
- Meet the essential criteria as listed on the person specification.
- Hold an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or be willing to work towards this / demonstrable equivalent level experience in a PPE environment.
- Hold a valid in-date Category C Driving Licence.
- Have previous experience of working within the guidelines of the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992.
- Have working knowledge of H&S legislation and its application specific to PPE within a Supplies environment.
- Have experience of developing and managing systems and processes.
- Have proven experience of building and maintaining working relationships with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external.
