Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Education Specialist to support the class teacher with various aspects of the daily classroom activities in a well-regarded secondary school in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in teaching pre-set work to full classes, small groups, and individuals.
  • Conducting 1:1 and small group intervention sessions to help targeted pupils and those requiring additional support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HLTA or Cover Supervisor is preferred.
  • Experience working across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is essential.
  • Flexibility in your approach to work is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is preferable.
