Motion Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Design Lead to join our team at The Mill. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for leading and organizing teams of designers, animators, artists, and technologists to deliver world-class content that exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor teams of designers, animators, and artists to deliver high-quality content
  • Develop and implement design processes to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
  • Collaborate with the Head of Design and Operations team to identify strengths and weaknesses within the team and resource projects accordingly
  • Stay up-to-date with current design trends and technology to ensure the team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge
  • Drive conversations with clients across projects, constructively challenging briefs and feeding back on work from the team
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading teams and inspiring creativity
  • Expert knowledge of Cinema 4D and After Effects, with a working knowledge of Houdini
  • Ability to stay organized and identify strengths and weaknesses within team members
  • Confident communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
