As a Senior Buyer at Wabtec Corporation, you will play a critical role in driving our company's success by sourcing high-quality materials and services from reliable suppliers. This role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our production teams and engineering departments to ensure seamless integration of new products into our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and delivery
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams and engineering departments
  • Travel regularly to visit UK suppliers and maintain relations with European and Asian suppliers
Requirements:
  • CIPS Level 5 or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Our estimated salary for this position is £55,000-£70,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
