Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our adult mental health services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to junior colleagues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
The role requires the successful candidate to have full GMC registration with a licence to practice and hold a CCT or equivalent qualification. They must also possess Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it and be an Approved Clinician. Eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register within six months of obtaining their CCST is also essential.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with eating disorders. Your duties will include assessing, managing, planning, and delivering care to allocated patients. The successful candidate will also be expected to commit to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
