Job Title: Maintenance Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Maintenance Craftsman to join our dedicated team at The David Lewis Centre, where the people we support come first. As a key player in maintaining and enhancing the facilities, you will bring your expertise to the role, undertaking a variety of repairs, installations, and new builds across the site.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and installations to ensure the site remains in top condition. This includes instructing and mentoring others in joinery and maintenance techniques, as well as manufacturing, assembling, and installing new work, including repairs and upkeep of plant and equipment. You will also continuously learn new skills and techniques to enhance your practice.

Your Responsibilities:

What We're Looking For:

Requirements:
* A recognised joinery qualification (such as a CITB apprenticeship or City & Guilds certificate)
* At least 3 years of relevant experience
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
* A positive, caring approach to working with people with disabilities
* A strong sense of reliability, flexibility, and teamwork
* A commitment to maintaining a high standard of work and professionalism in all tasks

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum
